The home team had won the previous four meetings between JAG and Percy Julian, and JAG kept the tradition alive. The JAG Jaguars blew past the Percy Julian Phoenix 11-2 on Friday. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Maree Hall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. JAG is undefeated when Hall posts two or more runs, but 0-5 otherwise.

In other batting news, Jamori Mallard was a standout: he scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Laking Anderson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

JAG was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory got JAG back to even at 5-5. As for Percy Julian, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: JAG beat Percy Julian by a score of 8-7 later that day.
