The loss continues a trend for Ocean County Christian Academy in their matchups with Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy: they've now lost five in a row.

Dale Gates was a one-man wrecking crew for Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy as he dropped a double-double on 34 points and ten boards. The contest was Gates' third in a row with at least ten points. Zyair Jones was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine assists.

Ocean County Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Ocean County Christian Academy will head out to challenge Calvary Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy, they will square off against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
