Basketball Recap: Nome-Beltz Takes a Loss

Nome-Beltz entered their matchup against West Anchorage on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Nome-Beltz Nanooks took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Anchorage Eagles. The loss put an end to the Nanooks' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nome-Beltz fell to 16-1. As for West Anchorage, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

While Nome-Beltz had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
