It was fun while it lasted, but Randleman's undefeated season came to an end after 11 games on Tuesday. They fell to the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles 62-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (56), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Uwharrie Charter Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Smith led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. Smith is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Braeden Lamb, who went 6 of 10 en route to 18 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Randleman fell to 11-1. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.

Randleman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 84-51 victory against Providence Grove on the 9th.
