Rye is 9-1 against Hoehne since August of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Thunderbolts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Farmers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Rye didn't have quite enough to beat Swink and fell 3-2. While the Thunderbolts didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-17 in the first set.

Rye wouldn't go down easily and took Swink into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-19, 25-17, 21-25, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Hoehne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Fowler. Farmers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Grizzlies since Thursday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Fowler scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 25-27, 25-18.

Hoehne now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Rye, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Rye took their win against Hoehne in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Thunderbolts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Farmers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
