            Softball Recap: Lake Worth Bullfrogs vs. Castleberry Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Lake Worth had lost 13 straight at home dating back to last season, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 2-19 to make it 14. They lost  29-6 to the Castleberry Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  14-2  back in March.
As for Castleberry, their win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-20-1. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
For Castleberry's part,  Rand'Elle Conner was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   four  hits. Conner was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances with two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news,  Josselyn Trejo was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with one  home run, eight  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March.  Izabella Zuniga was another key player,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with four  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double.
As of now, neither Lake Worth nor Castleberry have any future games scheduled.
