Soccer Recap: Lanier County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Fitzgerald

Lanier County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane, falling 5-1. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Bulldogs struggled afterwards.

Fitzgerald now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Lanier County will be playing at home against McIntosh County Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fitzgerald, they will venture away from home to face off against Jeff Davis at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
