Football Recap: Eisenhower Eagles vs. Colton Yellowjackets
Eisenhower won the last time they faced Colton and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles walked away with a 28-21 victory over the Yellowjackets.
The critical scores for Eisenhower came from Isaiah Rogers, Raydynn Togagae, and Kaden Bryant.
Eisenhower didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Noah Hennison and Aiden Smith.
Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Koa Regalado, who threw for 149 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 60 yards on only six carries. Another pass catcher making a difference was Kalvin Leon, who picked up 99 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The win got Eisenhower back to even at 1-1. As for Colton, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Looking ahead, Eisenhower will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Cypress at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colton, they will head out on the road to face off against Arrowhead Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
