Punxsutawney lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Karns City, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's match. The Chucks blew past the Gremlins 15-4 on Monday. Considering the Chucks have won four games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Punxsutawney pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Karns City, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Punxsutawney didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against St. Marys on the 23rd. As for Karns City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 4-3 win against Clarion-Limestone on the 22nd.
