All S and Midland Christian are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Saints will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. All S knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Midland Christian likes a good challenge.
On Friday, All S earned a 38-30 victory over Trinity Christian. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Lions are ranked 663rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead All S to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hudson Reasor, who picked up 95 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Reasor was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 57 yards. Gavin Beard was another key signal caller, throwing for 164 yards and three TDs.

All S' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. In that department, Kingston Beyer was the leader with 3.5 sacks. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 7.5 sacks on the season. All S got some further help from Keyon Adkins: he made 16 total tackles (2.5 for loss) and defended one pass.
Special teams played a big role in the game for All S, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jaytn Briles, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Midland Christian's game on Friday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Fort Worth Christian by a score of 31-24. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.
Midland Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Caleb Cruz and Cutter Smith. Cruz has been hot, having also posted at least one defended passe the last five times he's played. Another thorn in Fort Worth Christian's side was Brady Young, who picked up a sack, made five total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended one pass.
All S' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Midland Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Everything went All S' way against Midland Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as All S made off with a 49-28 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Mustangs' Avery Morgan, who threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 40 yards. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Saints to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
