Softball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northside can now relate to. They fell just short of the Springville Tigers by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rams have suffered since April 12th.

Northside saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Billings, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Northside and bumps their season record up to 37-15-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Springville, their win bumped their record up to 45-5-1.

Northside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-1 victory against Scottsboro on the 12th.
