They really took it to Colonial Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-17 win on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-11.
Somerset Academy South Homestead's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justice Sheppard led the charge by scoring 18 points. Sheppard is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Sakura Barnes was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds and seven assists.
Somerset Academy South Homestead pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 47.67 points. As for Colonial Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
