Little Elm falls despite strong effort from Shiloh Kimpson

Recap: Little Elm Lobos vs. McKinney Lions

The Little Elm Lobos pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 75-60 fall against McKinney. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (58), Little Elm still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Little Elm still got an impressive performance from Shiloh Kimpson, who scored 24 points along with three steals. Kimpson continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Amina Diallo was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.

Little Elm's loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 23-7. As for McKinney, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Little Elm will take on Guyer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Guyer will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 315th, while Little Elm is ranked 25th). As for McKinney, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Braswell at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
