Football Recap: North Penn Comes Up Short

North Penn managed to keep up with Pennridge until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Knights came up short against the Rams, falling 34-10. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It was another big night for Noah Keating, who rushed for 73 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 113 yards and one touchdown for Pennridge. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Keating a new career-high.

This is the second loss in a row for North Penn and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Pennridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Penn will square off against Central Bucks East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pennridge, they will challenge Abington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Galloping Ghosts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
