Baseball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West lost against Whitney last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans fell 5-1 to the Wildcats. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kason Klaus, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Easton Rinewalt also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

West's loss dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Whitney, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

West will venture away from home to square off against Clifton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
