Softball Recap: Blackfoot Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Middleton

Blackfoot faced Middleton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Broncos lost 11-1 to the Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Broncos have suffered since March 19th.

Blackfoot's defeat dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Middleton, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Blackfoot does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middleton, they have already played their next matchup, a 13-11 win against Pocatello on the 16th.
