Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brighton). They never let the Mountain Range Mustangs get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Brighton got a massive performance out of Nick Griffin, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave Griffin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Waltemath, who fired off two home runs and three runs while going 3-for-3.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Brighton lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They are 4-1 when they post two or more home runs.

Brighton's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Mountain Range, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Coincidentally, Brighton and Mountain Range will both be playing Northglenn the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Norsemen at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
