Volleyball Recap: West Monona's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Siouxland Christian on Tuesday, West Monona came back down to earth. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Clarinda Cardinals on Saturday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Monona fell to 3-1. As for Clarinda, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

West Monona has already played their next contest (against Shenandoah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Clarinda, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against West Central Valley on the 6th.
