Basketball Recap: Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Triumphs

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer won the last time they faced Parkview Christian, and Elie Bstandig did her part to make sure it happened again. The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-10 victory over the Parkview Christian Patriots thanks in part to Bstandig, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in steals (six).

Lillian Bowen was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 14 points and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

The win got Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer back to even at 8-8. As for Parkview Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will host East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer has won three straight at home, while East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Parkview Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Brownell Talbot on the 25th.
