Baseball Recap: Bartlett Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bartlett can now relate to. They fell just short of the Shiner Comanches by a score of 5-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since March 8th.

This is the second loss in a row for Bartlett and nudges their season record down to 18-14. As for Shiner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

Bartlett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shiner, they will square off against Burton on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comanches 2.9, the Panthers 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
