The Temecula Valley Golden Bears will take on the Great Oak Wolfpack at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Temecula Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Temecula Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Thursday. They skirted past St. Paul  4-3.
 Chase Hilt made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 5.1 innings while giving up  three earned runs off   seven  hits. Hilt was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances with one  double and one  RBI.
 Temecula Valley  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Paul only managed ten  hits.
Meanwhile, while Great Oak put up some  runs on Thursday, the same  can't be said for San Marino. The Wolfpack blew past the Titans 7-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wolfpack.
 Roy Kim looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Great Oak is 5-1 when  Kim allows one or  fewer  earned runs, but 8-15 otherwise.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Gavin Fien, who  went 2-for-3 with four  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Sam Pink was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Temecula Valley pushed their record up to 17-11 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Great Oak, their record now sits at 13-16.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Temecula Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Great Oak struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.9  strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Temecula Valley might still be hurting after the  13-5 loss they got from Great Oak  in their previous matchup  two weeks ago. Can the Golden Bears avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
