Volleyball Game Preview: Somerset Briar Jumpers vs. Lincoln County Patriots

The Somerset Briar Jumpers will take on the Lincoln County Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Somerset will be strutting in after a win while Lincoln County will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Somerset turned things around against Danville on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Admirals. The Briar Jumpers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Lincoln County came up short against East Ridge on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Patriots have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Somerset, their victory bumped their record up to 20-12.

Somerset took their win against Lincoln County when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Briar Jumpers repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
