Soccer Recap: Northwest Extends Winning Streak to Four

Northwest proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Taylor Yellowjackets 2-1. The game was the first time Northwest have beaten Taylor on their pitch since August 23, 2016.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Northwest, bringing their record up to 13-2-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four contests. As for Taylor, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6-1.

Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taylor, they will head out on the road to take on Indian Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
