Football Preview: Twin Loup Wolves vs. Palmer Tigers
The Twin Loup Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Palmer Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Twin Loup will be strutting in after a victory while Palmer will be coming in after a loss.
Twin Loup is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Chambers/Wheeler Central: they outscored them in every quarter. The Wolves blew past the Renegades 33-8 on Friday. The Wolves not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 20, 2024 (when they won 57-26).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Twin Loup to victory, but perhaps none more so than Oran Grint, who rushed for 121 yards and one TD, and also picked up 44 receiving yards. Grint's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 121 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Carter Hall, who picked up 68 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Meanwhile, Palmer had to suffer through a 64-16 loss at the hands of Burwell.
Although Palmer took the loss, they still got scores from Karter Ku and William Scheer.
The win was the third in a row for Twin Loup, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.7 points over those games. As for Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Twin Loup was able to grind out a solid win over Palmer in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 47-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
