Central Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Manchester Township Hawks. One positive for the Golden Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Manchester Township found their leader in sophomore Madeline Nolan, who went 9 for 19 on her way to 26 points and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nolan has scored all season. Savannah Jackson was another key player, putting up six points along with five boards and three steals.

Central Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Manchester Township, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Central Regional will take on Lacey Township at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manchester Township, they will face off against Point Pleasant Boro at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
