Football Game Preview: Midway Vikings vs. Cole Camp Blue Birds

Midway is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will head out on the road to face off against the Cole Camp Blue Birds at 7:00 p.m.

Midway is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 40 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Windsor on Friday. They fell 16-12 to the Greyhounds. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Cole Camp sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-36 victory over Butler on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Birds.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cole Camp, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Midway beat Cole Camp 22-14 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
