Hughson and Hilmar are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2022, but not for long. The Huskies will square off against the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hughson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

On Monday, Hughson was able to grind out a solid win over Sierra, taking the game 3-1.

Hughson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-19.

Hilmar not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Orestimba with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-8.

Hughson's record is now 24-9. As for Hilmar, their record now sits at 19-14.

Hughson took their victory against Hilmar in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
