The Buffalo Bison will challenge the New Diana Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Buffalo will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Buffalo lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Winona, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Bison breezed past the Wildcats to the tune of 41-7 on Friday.

It was another big night for Cole Davis, who rushed for 165 yards and three TDs on only 15 carries, and also threw for 46 yards and one touchdown. Buffalo is 2-1 when Davis posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise. Darrell O'Shea was another key player, rushing for 116 yards and one score.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Buffalo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 357 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Buffalo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nathan Pruitt, Elijah Harper, Hayden Shaw, and Donte Lott picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, New Diana took a blow against Troup on Friday, falling 69-31. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 640th, while the Tigers are ranked 235th).
Buffalo's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for New Diana, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.
Buffalo took a serious blow against New Diana in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 84-0. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Eagles' Dejuan Johnson, who threw for 273 yards and three TDs on perfect 8-for-8 passing, and also rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown.
