Madison Christian came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Fairfield Christian Academy Knights 3-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Madison Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Fairfield Christian Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21, 25-11.

Scholz Lily paced Madison Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lily got some help from Turner Caitlyn and her 14 assists. Sydnor Mishti and Yao Chloe kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Nakayla Cash and Candice Welsh certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Cash had 19 digs and two aces, while Welsh had 16 assists and eight digs. Welsh is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

Madison Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Madison Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Granville Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 11th. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Harvest Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
