With a playoff win on the line, George Jenkins rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Davenport Broncos. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: George Jenkins took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-14.

George Jenkins was led to victory by Isabella Verschage and Caty Whisenant. Verschage had 11 digs and two aces, while Whisenant had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Whisenant has posted over her last nine matchups. Riley Sullivan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

George Jenkins' victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Davenport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-5 record this season.

George Jenkins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Winter Haven on the 16th. Davenport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
