Basketball Recap: Owen Howard Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Non Varsity Opponent

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakeside, Clark Fork was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 49-43 W over Non Varsity Opponent. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wampus Cats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Clark Fork's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Owen Howard, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 boards. The match was Howard's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Evrett Montgomery, who went 8 of 19 en route to 19 points and three steals.

Clark Fork smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Clark Fork is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season.
