Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Bullitt Central

Bullitt Central took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Campbellsville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Bullitt Central skirted past Campbellsville 6-5. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 7-1 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Mason Burton was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Cole Halbrook also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bullitt Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Campbellsville only posted an OBP of .241.
