Newberry had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Newberry Panthers who were credited with the win on Saturday. The Newberry Panthers got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Williston Red Devils's two. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Newberry has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3-2 record this season. As for Williston, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.

Newberry will take on P.K. Yonge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in P.K. Yonge's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four contests. Williston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
