Elmore County came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Bibb County Choctaws as they made off with a 7-1 win. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly six runs.

Elmore County pushed their record up to 20-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Bibb County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-8.

Elmore County and Bibb County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 35th) will meet Reeltown (ranked 105th) at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bibb County will challenge Tuscaloosa Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (40 vs. 207).
