Volleyball Recap: Simon Kenton Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Simon Kenton came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Notre Dame Academy Pandas. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Leading Notre Dame Academy to victory were Ellie Osterkamp and Dara Jackson. Osterkamp had four digs and three aces, while Jackson had seven digs and four assists. That's the most assists Jackson has posted since back in August. Kaia Tilden also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Simon Kenton's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Notre Dame Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Simon Kenton will challenge Madison Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will head out to take on Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
