Soccer Recap: Todd County Central Comes Up Short

Todd County Central came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the University Heights Blazers, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Todd County Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 127th, while University Heights are ranked 16th).

Todd County Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for University Heights, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2-1.

Todd County Central wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Logan County on the 4th. As for University Heights, they will take on Christian County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
