Basketball Recap: Prescott Takes a Loss

Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Sunnyside Christian Knights, falling 72-11. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in January.

Prescott's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sunnyside Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Prescott will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dayton at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Sunnyside Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against DeSales at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. DeSales has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 223 points over their last three games.
