Basketball Recap: Bronson Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saint Francis Catholic, Bronson was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 59-58 photo finish over the Oak Hall Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-55 back in November of 2024.

Leading Bronson to victory were Talon Harris and Justice Phillips. Harris posted 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while Phillips earned 20 points and seven boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Phillips has scored at least a third of Bronson's points. Another player making a difference was Cian Ronaldo, who had four points and six rebounds.

Bronson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Oak Hall, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Bronson will square off against Chiefland at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Hall has already played their next contest (against Saint Francis Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
