Soccer Recap: Hobbton Comes Up Short

Hobbton lost against Clinton back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats lost 4-0 to the Dark Horses. Considering the last time Hobbton couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Hobbton now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Clinton, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6-1.

Looking ahead, Hobbton is taking a road trip to take on Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Pauls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton will be up against St. Pauls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.83 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
