Taylor waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Palatka Panthers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Panthers back in August, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Taylor had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-17.

Taylor's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Lane, who had 18 digs. Dayamy Mancilla was another key player, getting 13 digs and one assist.

Despite the loss, Palatka still got an impressive performance from Sydni Spencer, who had 27 digs and two aces. Spencer has been hot recently, having also posted 15 or more assists the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sofia Zimmerman, who had 15 assists and 11 digs.

Taylor's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Palatka, they dropped their record down to 10-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Taylor will be playing in front of their home fans against Interlachen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palatka, they will head out to square off against St. Augustine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
