Braxton Speights, McAllen Memorial's leading rusher, solidified his role on Friday. Speights turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 177 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Speights is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 103 every time he's taken the field this season.

Speights and McAllen Memorial will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McAllen at 7:30 p.m. on October 10.
