Volleyball Recap: American Heritage Stallions vs. FAU High Owls
American Heritage was the 3-0 winner over FAU High when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The American Heritage Stallions fell just short of the FAU High Owls by a score of 3-2 on Monday.
American Heritage took FAU High into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 19-25, 24-26, 16-14.
Katherine Chaffee and Grace Reilly certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Chaffee had five digs and three aces, while Reilly had ten digs. Chaffee is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.
American Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for FAU High, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. American Heritage will welcome Palm Beach Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for FAU High, they will stay at home for another game and welcome David Posnack Jewish Day at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
