Softball Recap: Lutheran Warriors vs. Glenn Rockets
Lutheran kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Glenn Rockets by a score of 5-3.
For Glenn's part, they got a big performance out of Brooklyn Busby, who went 4-for-4 with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Sam Farrell, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Glenn made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran will face off against Oakland Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenn, they will head out on the road to square off against Fordson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
