Basketball Game Preview: Eminence Warriors vs. Trimble County Raiders

Eminence hasn't had much luck against Trimble County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eminence Warriors will take on the Trimble County Raiders at 7:30 p.m.

Eminence is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-45 heartbreaker at the hands of Gallatin County. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, Trimble County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They skirted past the Panthers 34-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since December 17, 2024.

Eminence's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Trimble County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Eminence couldn't quite finish off Trimble County when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 44-41. Can Eminence avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
