Softball Recap: South East Takes a Loss

South East lost against Leuzinger back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. South East fell 8-3 to Leuzinger.

South East saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Iliana Dominguez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

South East's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Leuzinger, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

South East wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-1 defeat against Flintridge Sacred Heart on the 22nd. As for Leuzinger, they will square off against Santa Monica at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Monica's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Leuzinger's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
