Soccer Recap: Anchor Bay Takes a Loss

After flying high against Port Huron Northern last Friday, Anchor Bay came back down to earth. The Tars lost 6-1 to the Utica Eisenhower Eagles on Monday. Anchor Bay were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Anchor Bay has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 1-5-1 record this season. As for Utica Eisenhower, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anchor Bay will take on Dakota at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Utica Eisenhower, they will face off against Utica Ford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
