Montgomery Central came tearing into Wednesday's contest with 16 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.9 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Ledford Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 back in September.

Jared Duran and Jaydence Eddins scored all three of Montgomery Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

Montgomery Central's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Ledford, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.
