Baseball Recap: Palmdale Wins Going Away Against Eastside

Palmdale barely beat Eastside the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 9-1 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

Xavier Mejia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
