Basketball Recap: Custer/Hysham Takes a Loss

Custer/Hysham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Broadview/Lavina Pirates. While losing is never fun, Custer/Hysham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Broadview/Lavina is ranked 26th).

Custer/Hysham's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Broadview/Lavina, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Custer/Hysham will square off against Reed Point/Rapelje at 3:30 p.m. on February 1st. Broadview/Lavina has already played their next contest (against Forsyth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
