Basketball Recap: Salado Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Salado, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the University Trojans 58-43 on Friday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Trojans are ranked 891st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Salado's record is now 9-7. As for University, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salado and China Spring will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chaparral at 2:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
